Hi there! I’m Rose, your President for 2025. I’m super excited to be heading up SUDS this year and fostering more young talent. I started my SUDS journey in 2023, jumping in the deep end, co-writing & directing a show, Nowhere Fast. From there, I was Social Secretary on last years’ Exec as well as co-writing and directing You’re Killing Me. Outside of the Cellar, you’ll find me consuming too much media, listening to Pulp, riding public transport and trying to find an opportunity to go to the pub. ATHINA EFTHMIOU | Treasurer (SHE/HER)

Hey there, I’m Athina and I am your SUDS treasurer for 2025. I’m entering my third year of a Commerce and Advance Studies degree majoring in Finance and Accounting which is about as riveting as you’d think. I’ve been coming along to SUDS shows since 2023 and loving every single one. However, if I ever attempt to act in one the society may have to pay people to come see it, which would be bad for our funds, a major concern for me as treasurer. Outside from working with numbers I also am a bit of a crazy cat lady and love to bake cause who doesn’t like a sweet treat.

ALEX BUTLER | Secretary (She/HER)

Hey there! My name is Alex and I am your SUDS 2025 secretary. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (double majoring in English and Gender Studies) and am going into my second year of uni. I am so excited to be apart of the executive team this year - I was so eager to be both on the stage and behind this past year and have loved every second. I have a passion for writing with a goal of becoming a playwright! Please feel free to come to me with any secretary-specific questions or a chat! I’m so exited to meet you all.

Zoe LE MArinel | Archivist (They/Them)

Hello, I’m Zoe- I’m your Archivist for 2024! If you’re not sure what an archivist does, don’t worry, you’re not alone. It’s my job to know and preserve the society’s history. I look after our extensive records going all the way back to the 1890s, our posters, books, scripts, artwork, and photographs alongside endless miscellany. Ask me about our historic obsession with Shakespeare’s Julius Ceaser or the horrifying maw-like machine that we use to store show posters. Around SUDS I’ve done all kinds of whatever like writing, directing, acting, producing, dramaturgy (my favourite), costuming and fight choreography. AIDAN HALE | CEllar Officer (HE/HIM)

Hey! I'm Aidan, a second-year Advanced Studies Media Comms/Philosophy student, and one of your Cellar Officers for 2025! Cellar Officers look after our society's theatre and oversee procedures when using the theatre. This includes: bump-ins, bump-outs, rigging lights, set construction, setting up flats, using tools, etc. I have acted, directed, set designed, and written plays at SUDS since 2023, enjoying every second of it!
