Woolf’s Speakeasy - the hottest hang-out for a night of safe, sober, and decidedly queer entertainment! The tastiest mocktails were served with a showcase of poetry, comedy, drag and song - all in celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community. A Slot 1 Fundraiser.

The Room, written by Greg Sestero and Tommy Wiseau, is a meditation and exploration of the heights of emotion and the impossibilities of Paradise. ‘The Venus of Marrickville’ is a translation/ reworking/metapoem of William Shakespeare’s ‘Venus and Adonis’ c. 1592, presented in a modern street language and modern metaphor and imagery. -Komninos.

If ‘Real’ is something that only happens to you when you are loved by another, what happens if there isn’t someone available to be that person? Do we fill the void ourselves, or do we just keep waiting? SUDS presents "Shelf Life", an original theatrical work written by Pearl Card, and directed by Eric Jiang about 3 toys dealing with what it truly means to be loved, and to be real.

The day is Boxing Day 2020, and it's set to be the hottest day on record. Childhood friends Bobby and Alex meet to catch up and make up for lost time. As the day goes on and the temperature climbs, Bobby and Alex revisit their past, their present, and an uncertain future. Boxing Day is a play about old friends, climate grief, and facing the possibility that you may not see the people you love grow old.
